Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
All Air Force Schools are to form a Parent Teacher Association. The composition of the management committee of the PTA shall be as follows:-
(a) Chairman : Executive Director
(b) Secretary : Principal / HM
(c) Members : One Teacher Rep on yearly rotation basis.
One Parent Rep each from Sr Sec/Sec/Middle/Primary and Pre-Primary Classes (as applicable) on yearlyrotation basis. The parent reps are to be selected during Annual General body meeting of PTA.
The tenure of the teacher and the parent members will be one academic session only.

The PTA is to meet once in six months on any Saturday/holiday or after duty hours. Points raised/discussed during the meetings of PTA are to be recorded and put up to the Chairman for his approval/information. PTA may charge a quarterly subscription not exceeding 20 per student to fund its activities. These may include arranging annual meetings of all parents and teachers where any point of general interest may be taken up for discussion. PTA may also assist the School by organising annual picnics etc. for the students and sponsoring prizes/scholarships. PTA is to act as a link between the teachers and the parents and assist in sorting out any academic/general problem regarding the students.
Parent Teachers Meeting (PTM)
This is an open house informal meeting of the Parents and Teachers, organised after each term is completed. Parents may interact with the respective teachers to know the progress of their wards. In specific cases, on need basis, parents may also meet Principal/HM during these sessions. These meetings are to be organised only on Saturdays/holidays or after working hours.
